National Children and Adult Services Conference

30 September 2014

National Children and Adult Services Conference
Manchester, 29-31 October 2014

What was different for Leicester was how they decided to build their leadership programme, and how RedQuadrant supported design and delivery - using experiential learning, coaching and action learning to shift the focus into practice.

Find out more about how leadership development is making a difference to children's services in Leicester at this speaker's corner session.
Join us at the conference's Speakers' Corner: a giant, inflatable igloo, from which will spill forth all sorts of bright ideas, provocative thoughts and invaluable insights about the future of social care.
We'll be talking about our unique approaches to
  • systems leadership - talking about the work we have done with Leicester City council children's services, with Elaine McHale, interim director presenting, and
  • demand management - a new holistic approach bringing together the key ways to manage demand
For more information about the conference, including information about how to book a place, have a look at the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services's website.
Contact our service leads to learn more about our work in children's and adults' social care.
Following on from the conference, we have FREE taster events set up for those who want to learn more:
  • Two wonderful events on 7 November, at RedQuadrant's offices in Vauxhall, central London:
    • a short day taster on systems leadership, drawing on our case study work
    • a late afternoon taster session of the Perspectivity Game, an experiential introduction - run by Perspectivity, we are hosting this at our offices (not a RedQuadrant event) - book here
  • And on 14 November,
    • power breakfast on demand management, with Warren Hatter of With the Grain
    • an introduction to our holistic demand management approach with practical tips for 'seven ways to manage demand'
