RedQuadrant Power Breakfast - understanding adaptive and systems leadership

02 May 2014

It’s the most important meal of the day, so why not make it interesting?

Rick Torseth and Benjamin P Taylor will be discussing the latest thinking in adaptive and systems leadership over coffee and croissants. Start your day with new ideas and a chance to swap thoughts with your peers – a short time of reflection in the constant buzz of leading in tough times.

Rick Torseth is a leadership consultant from the US. He has consulted and coached leaders since 1991. His current work focuses on helping leaders address the hard challenges in global health and development. In this session he will describe his experiences coaching leaders in the service sector in building leadership capacity using adaptive leadership frameworks. His goal for the session is to provide people with an actual experience of adaptive leadership.

Ben is a founder and managing partner at RedQuadrant. With 15 years’ experience of delivering transformation in the public sector, he is passionate about lean and systems thinking. He will use the principles of Barry Oshry’s Power+Systems to discuss how all levels of an organisation can empower themselves and the system they work in.
