RedQuadrant appointed to Management Consultancy framework RM3745

13 November 2017

We are delighted to announce that the Crown Commercial Service has appointed RedQuadrant and our consortium to three lots on their Management Consultancy Framework RM3745. For a pdf of this press release, click here.

Under the framework, the services of RedQuadrant and our consortium are available from 21 November 2017. This framework, the successor to ConsultancyONE, provides a compliant, cost effective way for central government and the wider public sector to access a variety of consultancy advice from a wide range of suppliers.

Whilst there are two different ordering procedures provided within the framework, further competition is the default option. For contracts less than nine months duration Direct Award is available by following the criteria set out in the framework.

Benjamin Taylor, Managing Partner, RedQuadrant, said:

"We are proud to have been appointed on to framework and look forward to partnering with new clients, to make a true difference in public service transformation. We put people at the centre of all of our thinking to support better services with less funding, rather than just carrying out cost cutting exercises. We help public services to transform and evolve, which is key during times of continuing austerity."

RedQuadrant is a consultancy with a difference, uniquely placed to provide the savings that the Crown Commercial Service seek. Our network of independent expert consultants gives us access to cutting edge consulting methods, as well as key experts in each field. We also have more flexibility when it comes to work in niche fields – we identify the best person for each project rather than having to select the closest match from a static workforce.

Our consultant network consists of over 1,500 individuals, with experience across all areas of local and central government, with the following core statistics:

  • core team of 50 employed and independent consultants
  • service leads who are industry recognised experts for each field in which we work
  • more than ten former local government CEOs
  • over 350 consultants with central government experience
  • approximately 450 with third sector experience
  • over 100 consultants with ‘Fat Four’ training and experience
  • nationwide coverage – over 65% of our consultants are based outside of London

Our approach to transformation is to focus on making change happen and to ensure that change is sustainable – we work with our clients to build their capacity through skills and knowledge transfer and make ourselves redundant, to ensure that change can continue after we have left.
