RedQuadrant’s main goal is to help public services to help themselves, so we are very excited and proud to say that we have formed a new social enterprise – the Public Service Transformation Academy – along with other sector leading bodies. And that we have been awarded a concession contract to run the Cabinet Office Commissioning Academy, a leading development programme for senior public sector leaders. The official news announcement is at: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/cabinet-office-commissioning-academy-relaunched-by-social-enterprise

The next wave of the national Academy will commence 9 June and the deadline for applications is 27 May2016. We’ve had a lot of interest already, so if you’re interested, apply now to guarantee your place – http://commissioning.academy/ – or email info@commissioning.academy to enquire about local and sector academies. A brochure is here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-commissioning-academy-brochure/commissioning-academy-brochure-2016

We hope to make the new Public Service Transformation Academy the ‘go-to’ place for real, practical, capacity building for service transformation, from agile and lean service transformation (the Service Transformation Programme), to channel migration, measurement and evaluation, social value and social investment, and systems and collaborative leadership.

The Public Service Transformation Academy is led by RedQuadrant with WIG, OPM, NCVO, Browne Jacobson LLP, the E3M Bold Commissioners Club, Numbers for Good, TSIP, the Alliance for Useful Evidence, Local Gov Digital, Collaborate, and members of the Public Service Transformation Network.

We have been able to take on the website of the Public Service Transformation Network and are in the middle of updating it at www.publicservicetransformation.org . We will maintain the knowledge base set up by the PSTN and hope to work in the same spirit of support to service reform.
