RedQuadrant assists with the 'change in landscape' in Australian public services

RedQuadrant will be presenting on 22 October in Bendigo at a joint LGPRo conference – ‘a change in landscape’, dveloped by the Corporate Planners Network SIG and Communications Network SIG. A Change in Landscape Conference will be held on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 October at the All Seasons Hotel, 171-183 McIvor Road, Bendigo. The winners of the Excellence in Local Government Corporate Planning and Communications Awards will be announced at a Dinner on the evening of 22 October.

Our ‘campaign against consultancy’ continues in full force. The RedQuadrant service transformation academy is in real demand in Australia as we train employees to be able to identify improvements and support sustainability in services in this difficult time financially. We believe in enabling the public sector to transform itself.

Now, for the first time,as well as our acclaimed transfromation skills training, we are offering ‘train the trainer’ accreditation to local and state government as well as independent consultants and individuals to share our knowledge and experience of deep public service transformation more widely. The core courses are:

  • Customer-led service design and whole systems change – experiential learning to review and transform your services for sustainability and effectiveness: 21/22 October in Melbourne
  • Accredited agile master in public services – experiential learning to apply agile approaches to deliver real service transformation: 15/16 October in Sydney, 26/27 October and 25/26 November in Melbourne
  • Coaching and consulting for change – turning difficult situations into productive conversations: 14 October Sydney, 28 October and 27 November Melbourne
  • Leading in a volatile world: four dimensions of complexity: 30 November Melbourne

In order to be accredited through the Public Service Transformation Academy (LAST – at, you need to be an experienced trainer with a good knowledge of service change, facilitation, process work, and change management. You must then:

  • Attend a free introductory session on Saturday 17 October (Sydney) or Saturday 24 October (Melbourne) and pass the assessment;
  • Participate in each of the courses you wish to be accredited to deliver; and
  • Be trained, by me, at our special trainer the trainer sessions, on Saturday 21 November, Saturday 28 November, and Tuesday 1 December (Melbourne)
