Support team

Caroline Nicol

Caroline joined us after having worked in every job imaginable in recruitment, over a ten-year period. Delivery temporary and interim staff to the Scottish public sector, she worked on reception, in payroll, recruiting, team management, and account management. She is highly process driven with specialisations in audit and compliance - she gets us organised! When not working, Caroline enjoys reading, cooking, singing, gaming and all things sci-fi/fantasy.

John Wheeldon

John started work with RedQuadrant in 2014 focusing on bid management after returning to the UK from an ‘accidental’ year of travelling. Before this, he graduated from Durham University in 2012 with an MA in History and then spent almost two years working in recruitment for the international oil and gas industry. John manages all the areas within our bid development process to ensure we submit high quality proposals to win new pieces of work across our business areas. His responsibilities include finding new opportunities to bid for, co-ordinating input from our proposed project teams, writing content for our bids and reviewing and editing final proposals. Outside of the office he can usually be found on a lacrosse pitch anywhere from South London to Copenhagen and also enjoys making the most of RedQuadrant’s proximity to The Oval cricket ground.

Vivian Mak

Vivian joined RedQuadrant after finishing her MSc Environment and Sustainable Development at University College London. She also holds a Law degree. Having taken on two temporary roles as business administration intern and project support analyst with the company, she has absorbed a breadth of knowledge across a number of functions of the company’s business and a few areas of client projects. She later decided to join the team permanently as a business development administrator, which allows her to contribute junior support mainly towards tenders, resourcing and recruitment processes. With her growing understanding about RedQuadrant’s unique business model and consultant network, she is beginning to provide coordination support to different marketing, network and engagement events. Aside from her aspiration to pursue a long-term career in public sector consultancy, Vivian has a keen interest in classical recitals and cooking.
